Welcome to my new site!
2018 is here and I can't believe how fast the years are flying by. Seems like it was just last year that my son Luc was born; now he's able to ride a bike, ski, climb, and ask me questions about my perspectives on life.
2017 was a wonderful year for my photography, albeit I wasn't pursuing it as hard as I have in the previous years. I've invested a bit of my resources into new gear, acquired some stable clients, and have enough work to make me consider how much time I want to split between photography and my family.
5 years ago my wife and I had little to worry about, just a couple d.i.n.k.s. living in the booming city of Seattle and charging life like there was no tomorrow. Having a kid now has changed things a bit but not like one would imagine with all the nightmarish stories we hear growing up. It's been an amazing journey as a little family and I can't believe how fun it's been. I'm still able to balance family time and still have a lot for adventures and work (I say this as I type at 1:30am, getting close to my usual bedtime before the day starts at 6:45am).
For the new year, I'll be working on this new site, focusing on writing a little more, and trying to carry my camera a little more. Expect some reviews, interviews, trials and tribulations, documentaries, field reports, and some old fashioned storytelling.
A big thank you to all the businesses, publications, organizations, family, friends, and my awesome wife and son for supporting me over the years. Here's to many more!
